Our data center is SSAE 16 Type II Certified. SSAE 16 Type II auditing guidelines were created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), to audit a service organization’s control objectives, safeguards, and activities. SSAE 16 Type II reports presents the results of extensive testing that determines how effectively the data center service organization’s controls meet its control objectives. Secure Location
Geographically centered in the United States, we are located away from the coasts and the threat of hurricanes. We are positioned outside of high risk earthquake zones, and based on National Weather Service, data Kansas City is not on the list of the top twenty tornado-prone cities.
Power Sources
Separate power grids, dedicated wiring, a+b UPS protection, and on-demand diesel generators with automatic transfer between power sources ensures superior redundancy across facilities.
Physical Security
We employ security patrols, keycard access, biometric hand and fingerprint identification, and 3rd-party alarm monitoring to ensure the safety of our facilities. All data center activity is recorded and video footage is archived for 90 days.
